Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California) is an actor. Her work includes actress in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers, both of that she's been pursuing. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. She was Nanni's daughter in the next year in Red Wood Pigeon. It was her acting career that truly took off with Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido. Cannes International Film Festival was an enormous achievement for the film. In Trauma she acted in her first film with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search for her parents' killer. Asia's intense and concentrated style of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. She also costarred in Carlo Verdones Perdiamoci di vista in which she performed the role of Arianna who was a physical challenged woman. The role was intricate and demanding, earning her an award from David di Donatello as the most outstanding actress. In 1995 she worked together alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia started her short film directing career in 1994. She also produced an episode of the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her direct a documentary with the father of her. 1998 saw her direct AbelAsia about the legendary filmmaker Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress, and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released May 20th, 2000 in Italy as well as other nations. It won an award in Brooklyn's Williamsburg festival of film.
